HSV 2 External Quality Control
Microbix’s PROCEEDx™ HSV 2 positive external quality controls are unassayed, whole-workflow samples that simulate clinical specimens. These products are formulated with inactivated Herpes Simplex Virus 2 and human cells suspended in a proprietary buffer. The HSV positive samples have verified performance with Roche cobas® 4800, Hologic Aptima®, Meridian Bioscience Alethia®, Luminex ARIES®, DiaSorin Simplexa®, Quidel Solana, Quidel AmpliVue™, Seegene Allplex™ Genital Ulcer Assay, and more.
Our RUO PROCEEDx™ HSV 2 samples are to be used as nucleic acid-based assays for the detection of HSV 2. The product is to be used for instrument (device) verification/validation, manufacturing QMS, educational and R&D purposes.
