Antigens
Native Mycoplasma pneumoniae antigen preparation contains soluble Mycoplasma components in PBS. You can use this antigen product in various immunoassay formats, including both IgG and IgM detection in assays that include EIA with polystyrene and latex solid phases.
Recommendations for Use
Mycoplasma pneumoniae antigen preparation should be sonicated immediately before use to ensure uniformity. The preparation may be used as is in various immunoassay formats or further purified to meet the needs of a particular format. The Mycoplasma pneumoniae grade 2 antigen is widely used for both IgG and IgM detection in assays that include EIA with polystyrene and latex solid phases.
