Microbix’s PROCEEDx™ Human Papillomavirus (HPV) 16/18/45 positive external quality controls are unassayed, whole-workflow samples that simulate clinical specimens. These products are formulated with inactivated human epithelial cells with integrated and episomal HPV 16, 18, and 45 genetic materials, suspended in ThinPrep® PreservCyt®.
Microbix HPV 16/18/45 external quality controls have verified performance with Abbott Alinity m HR HPV Assay, Cepheid Xpert® HPV Assay, BD Onclarity™ HPV Assay, Seegene Anyplex™ II HPV HR Detection Assay, Roche cobas® 4800 and cobas® 6800/8800 HPV test, EliTech High Risk HPV EliTe Assay, and more.
Intended Uses
Our RUO PROCEEDx™ HPV 16/18/45 samples are to be used as a positive test sample in polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based tests. The product is to be used for nucleic acid test instrument (device) verification/validation, manufacturing QMS, educational and R&D purposes.

What is the shelf life of your HPV 18 quality control samples?
The shelf life of the HPV 16/18/45 quality control samples is two years from the date of manufacture, provided they are stored properly at 2-8°C.
What quality controls are available for other HPV genotypes?
Our HPV panel includes external positive quality controls for HPV 31, 33, 39, 51, 66, and a high-risk HPV negative 67 in liquid (1mL vials) and swab formats. We also provide inactivated multiplex HPV 31/33/66 and HPV 39/51/52 liquid and swab products for use with extended high-risk HPV types.
